Seagate hard drive not recognized by the TV

Hello everyone,

I have been using a "Backup Plus Portable Drive" from Seagate on my Mac for a long time. Part of the hard drive is used for Time Machine backups, and the other part is for storing documents. However, when I connect my hard drive to my TV (SAMSUNG QE55Q67R), it does not detect the hard drive. Therefore, I cannot read the video documents (in .mkv or .avi) saved on it.

Do you have any solutions?

    I think your TV does not read hard drives formatted for Apple!

        Convert the hard drive to exFAT for Mac and TV brands.
