Is GameOverlayUI.exe a virus or dangerous program?

Hello, I just saw in the task manager a software called gameoverlayui.exe that has a steam logo and is located in: Programs (x86)/Steam. It also shows that the publisher is Valve.
But when I go to details for this one, I see that it says (User Account Control virtualization enabled). So, since it probably comes from Steam, I shouldn't worry about it, right? I want your opinion.
Its particularity is that it disappears from the task manager when my game stops. (Pro Cycling Manager 2019 just so you know ;)
So given that it has the Steam logo and stops when my game stops, I think it is completely harmless, but I still want to be sure, so that's why I'm asking for your help. Is it dangerous or not?
P.S.: When I said my game, I just mean that I haven't tested it with other games.
