Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 Disk Replacement Issue

Hello,
My Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 originally contained 2 Seagate 1TB drives. One of the drives failed, so I wanted to replace it. Instead of going back to 2*1TB, I decided to take the opportunity to increase my storage capacity. I purchased 2 Western Digital 3TB drives. So far, I have not been able to get my NAS working again.
I removed the defective drive. The NAS only contains one Seagate 1TB drive in slot 1.
The dashboard indicates the error message "The Iomega StorCenter device is degraded and data protection is not ensured." This is normal as one drive is missing. The table shows Backup 0 O.
In the "Disk" interface:
- Disk 1 (ST31000520AS, CC32) 932 GB (hovering over the icon shows "the disk is functioning normally")
- Disk 2 (hovering over the icon shows "the disk is absent")
- Data protection: Mirror
- Available storage: 930 GB
In the "Manage Disks" interface, "Data Protection", the selected setting is the first: "Mirror".
Procedure tested:
1) Power off the NAS.
2) Insert the new 3TB WD blank drive (no partition) into slot 2.
3) Restart the NAS.
> Information on the homepage: "1 new drive has been added to your Iomega StorCenter device." The table shows Backup 0 O.
> Disk Page:
The Iomega StorCenter device is degraded and data protection is not ensured.
- The disk is functioning normally. Disk 1 (ST31000520AS, CC32) 932 GB
- The disk is not usable. Disk 2 (WD30EFRX-68EUZN0, 82.00A82) 2.7 TB
Data protection: Mirror
Available storage: 930 GB
In the "Manage Disks" interface, "Data Protection", the configuration options are no longer available.
There is indeed an issue with the use of the new disk.
What should I do now?
I see several options (I have already tested some, but none have worked).

Hello
You need a USB stick, preferably with an activity light, formatted FAT32. Place the ix2-220 directories on it and boot by pressing the reset button for almost 1 minute. This will create the RAID of your 2 3TB drives and reinstall the software. You will then have an IOMEGA Cloud Edition NAS Version 3.14... with a capacity of 3TB. I rebuilt mine with 2x4T

maybe he wants 2 disks of the same size (which makes sense) for raid1
I advise you to back up the remaining disk or mount it in another machine (a backup would be better), then reinstall the two new disks and restore the backup.
