Hello,
I bought a beyerdynamic a few days ago, but I wasn't told to buy an amplifier or a sound card with it... I find the sound clear but not powerful enough, so I went online to see why and it turned out that getting this headset without an amp is very foolish. So I'm here to ask what to get for good sound (it's for gaming) I have a maximum budget of 150 euros.
Configuration: Android / Chrome 81.0.4044.117

Hello
Indeed, the DT 990 pro with its 250-ohm impedance is quite difficult to drive and you must clearly be lacking in power...
If you're motivated, you can check out the forum at tellementnomade.org (there are several topics regarding pairing a DT 990 pro with a DAC or headphone amplifier) but these are usually quite technical discussions.
Otherwise, this fits roughly within your budget: https://www.son-video.com/article/haute-fidelite-streaming-et-reseau-dac-audio-usb/ifi-audio/zen-dac#fiche_Caracteristiques
However, if you want to take advantage of the balanced output, you'll need a 4.4mm male jack to 3.5mm female jack adapter: https://www.amazon.fr/Deylaying-Balanced-Adaptateur-Remplacement-Connecteur/dp/B07916HBKR?th=1
4.4mm jacks are rare...
And it doesn't seem to me that they provide the USB B 3.0 cable with the DAC: https://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00185172.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwtLT1BRD9ARIsAMH3BtW7MfNrx8PDsSgOh59SE4U5eJL5cZHbQNu47IW1q-zsHu_07lYgWfEaAuMsEALw_wcB
If you want more information about balanced/unbalanced audio outputs, take a look here: https://www.sonelec-musique.com/connectique_symetrique_asymetrique.html-
I looked a bit on the internet, what to get sound card or amplifier I came across 2 choices tell me what you think, you who seem to know.

https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07H5JLD2Q/ref=crt_ewc_title_dp_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ASF2KCXNZR229
And what cable should I have to be able to use them correctly? I also plan to get a microphone on a stand so I also need an XLR cable, right?- I think that if you are looking for simplicity, the Sound BlasterX G6 is just right. It's a DAC designed for gaming, you connect it via USB to your PC, plug in the headset with a 3.5mm jack, the microphone likewise, and it works...
The tube amplifier will be much more complicated in terms of wiring/compatibility, and I'm not sure it's a good idea to amplify a signal coming from the audio chipset of your motherboard. You will amplify the signal but also all the flaws and "impurities" it contains.
Furthermore, I have doubts about the Sound BlasterX G6's ability to drive the DT990 properly; despite the marketing claims touting the ability to use a 600-ohm headset on it... I don't believe it too much^^' gaming brands unfortunately tend to inflate the specs and prices (especially since here you will also pay for all the software part behind it).
Take a look here, someone in the same situation as you but on PS4 is briefly discussing the Sound BlasterX: http://labo.tellementnomade.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=295&t=23066
That said, nothing prevents you from trying it and giving feedback if you're not satisfied.
Otherwise, on the Sound Blaster website, the G6 is listed at €130. However, on Amazon, they mention a battery, but the official site specifies that there isn't one... ? - Well, I’ll confess that I’m not really in the mood to deal with sending things back and forth and all that...
I saw a little video about the LOXJIIE P20 and it seems like a good compromise, but I think I might have trouble setting it up.
But the problem is that I have a pretty big PC, and when I play, I sometimes hear the fan sounds, and it's quite annoying, so do you think the LOXJIIE can handle the 250 OHM? - For the connection, it doesn't seem too complicated to me, jack to RCA or jack to dual male XLR for the PC-amplifier link. For the amplifier-headphone link, you can either go directly with a jack (6.3mm apparently based on the photo) for the balanced output, or by finding a cable that goes from a 4-pin male XLR to a female jack (and you'll have to search a bit for that).
When you say you hear the fans, is it just the noise of the fans spinning or is it an electronic noise in the headphones?
In my opinion, if you want to make sure you make the right purchase, go present your problem on tellementnomade, they are super knowledgeable and they especially love the DT 990 pro^^
I'm hesitant to advise you on gear I don't know and it's been a while since I last looked into the "serious" audio field.
Regarding the bass story, I think mainly that since your headphones are not well-driven, the sound must be anemic and you're probably lacking in dynamics. Generally, it's night and day when you switch from a standard audio source to a good DAC-amplifier. Especially since the DT 990 is known for having very good bass presence.
The DT 990 has an open architecture while the 770 is closed; the impact of the bass is generally more pronounced on closed headphones, but you'll lose precision and soundstage quality... the DT 990 is normally "superior" to the 770, though the latter is also a good headphone... The MMX 300 is a modified DT 770, for example.
Anyway, I recommend going through tellementnomade if you want to be sure of your purchase; in any case, you have a very good headphone, it just lacks the right audio source :)
