[Problem] Louder on one side, Beyerdynamic dt 770

Hello, I have a DT 770 32 ohm that I’ve had for 3 months (bought at the beginning of July). It’s a really good headset; I was very happy with it until yesterday. I woke up, plugged it into my phone, started my playlist, and then the drama struck. The sound is louder on the right channel, but the left side still works; it’s just not as powerful as the other. I’ve tried the sound on several devices, but it doesn’t change anything, even on my PC, where I looked at the audio options and still nothing worked. So I don’t know what to do; I took off the foam from the part that covers the metal headband to check the cable that goes from the left side to the right side of the headset, and I noticed that at one point the cable was "white." I think there might be a loose connection. I believe I have a warranty of more than a year, so I’m not sure if I should send it in for repair or if there’s something I can do to fix it.

Too bad you took it apart if you had a warranty; they will surely refuse it now.
Your problem is of a physical nature with your headset.
In any case, if you see a poorly done solder joint that could be causing a weak connection on your headset, try to redo it; this could be the source of the problem.

I didn't take it apart; it's just that there are certain parts that can be removed for replacement. The foam I removed is one of those components that can be replaced, so in no way does my warranty become invalid.
