I have a 4TB WD external hard drive with USB 3.0 and suddenly the PS4 shows me an error message. I then went into the settings and I can't format the HDD as extended storage even though it has always worked and meets the required criteria. I don't understand, can you help me?

Hello,
Has your hard drive been subjected to a shock?
Have you tried to format it from a computer by selecting exFAT (or FAT32) and in "Allocation unit size" selecting at least 1TB.
