Agenda app issue - Huawei P20 Lite

Hello,
I have a Huawei P20 Lite for just over a year, and for the past few days, the Calendar app has been malfunctioning. When I try to create an event (I press the + button), the app crashes. I’ve tried to force stop the app and clear its cache. I’ve also tried restarting my phone, but nothing works. I don’t understand where this might be coming from and why it’s happening. My phone is up to date, I checked.

Hello, I just had a chat with HUAWEI customer service.
Here is the procedure:
Settings ~ apps ~ applications ~ click on (the 3 small dots at the top right) ~ click on (show system processes) ~ find the calendar icon and click on it ~ storage ~ clear cache and restart the device.
It worked very well for me and there was no loss of my appointments.
