Calendar synchronization

Question

Hello,

I check my work email on 2 computers + my smartphone, so I installed Thunderbird on the computers using IMAP.
I'm unable to synchronize my calendars which are only stored locally each time.
I tried synchronizing with CalDav, but that didn't work either; I'm lost and don't know what to do.
Does anyone have a simple tip?

Hello @Maudy

Install the "Provider for Google Calendar" add-on on your two Thunderbirds, which will handle the synchronization:

Thank you, I did it but the only thing that still bothers me is that I have to edit events in Google Calendar, otherwise if I do it directly in the Thunderbird calendar it doesn’t reflect in the other Thunderbird calendar. However, when I send meeting invitations, I want to do it from my work email, to work emails. Google allows me to send invitations only to Gmail addresses.
So if another solution exists to synchronize my Thunderbird calendars directly, that would be great for me..

In the list of calendars in the left column, right-click on "My Calendar," then "Properties" and configure it to be "on the network" instead of "on my PC."

By right-clicking, you also have a "Synchronize Calendars" command.
