Gaming PC running at only 80 fps/100 fps

Hello, I bought a portable gaming PC 2 days ago (07/04/20) because I didn’t want to get a bulky desktop PC due to lack of space and usefulness. However, I paid around €1000 with the following specs:

AMD Ryzen 5-3550H Processor - Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 Graphics - 512 GB SSD - 16 GB RAM - Windows 10

From what I’ve seen online, this is logically a good configuration, but in games like League of Legends, I’m getting 70/80 fps with major drops during fights, whereas on my desktop PC back in the day with a much lower configuration, I was getting a constant 150-170 fps with the same settings. Knowing that the Nvidia card drivers are up to date, I don’t understand why my PC is performing poorly.

PS: This is not a temperature issue; I’ve already checked.

Thank you for your help.

    Hello,

Have you checked that it runs the game on the GTX? :)

Yes, I went into the Nvidia control panel, I set it to the GPU but nothing works.

When you right-click on the LoL icon, you don't have the option "run with NVIDIA graphics processor..." etc.?

I haven't tested it directly like that, but since I've assigned LoL to the GPU in the Nvidia control panel, it should probably be the same, right?

Depends, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a problem somewhere; there's a launcher for LoL, right? We need to check if it launches from the launcher or the actual .exe of the game, etc... :/

Well, I tested the right-click, it doesn't change anything, and for the second part, I can't do anything because Nvidia doesn't detect the game.

I watched and it's indeed the game that runs with my graphics card, but I don't think it's normal to have only 100 fps with this config.

Try to check the temperatures, but it does seem low indeed... (MSI Afterburner for the temperatures)

I think I was simply scammed by the product description, actually.

Why? Press Windows + R and type "dxdiag", you will get the components of your PC?
