No images displayed when viewing PDF

Hello, I need to print old emails that I read with Thunderbird in PDF format.
When I print them either with PDF Creator or Foxit Reader and then view them, the images contained in the messages do not display.
Does anyone have an explanation to correct this problem?

Good evening,

In some messages, the "remote content" is not displayed. In the Options, it is possible to display it. (I think you know that).

I have exactly the same observation as you; some images from the "remote content" do not print (paper printing or PDF printing). But the rest of the remote content does print.

This is clearly a problem with Thunderbird, as the printing works perfectly with Outlook.

For now, I don't have a solution. I tested with Mail on a .eml file: failure.
It doesn't work with Windows Live Mail either.

I received a message yesterday from you on the CCM site, the images and text appear in Thunderbird Version 68.6.0.

I tried the function in the File tab, Print Preview: the images and text display without any issues.

I printed using Foxit Reader Version 9.5.0.20723: the images and text are displayed.

However, with some messages, when I open them with Thunderbird Version 68.6.0, the outline of the images (sometimes even with a torn pictogram) is present.
And sometimes when I open the message, the images are there but when printing with PDF Creator Version 4.03 build 11231 or with Foxit Reader Version 9.5.0.20723, they are missing from the PDF.

If you have any ideas, I would be grateful?

Hello

I just did a test.
With the email displayed, I chose Print and selected a PDF printer. I get a PDF file with the images.
Is that how you proceed?
