Hello,

I would like to know if I could add an SSD (Crucial 250GB MX500 type) to install my operating system on it to replace the 32GB eMMC which is not sufficient in my HP laptop model 14-bs005nf?
Thank you for your help.

Configuration: Android / Chrome 80.0.3987.149

    Hello,
I’m replying to you and saying that it’s possible, I just did it.
While dismantling the PC, I found the SATA connection. So I unplugged the cable from the USB connector and removed the metal plate that was just stuck with double-sided tape. Then I installed my SSD. I installed Windows by changing the boot order in the BIOS, setting USB HDD as the first option. And it works.
There you go, if this interests anyone...

I went into the BIOS and set it to boot from the new drive that was recognized.

      Hello,
Can you send me a picture or specify where you connected your SSD because I can't see where to plug it in at all?
Thank you very much for your reply.

      Hello Bouli.

Frustrated by the difficulties in installing updates due to the memory limitation of this HP 14-bs005nf laptop, I am very interested in knowing the method to open it.

Are there any hidden screws under the rubber pads? How did you proceed to open it once all the screws were removed?

      Thank you very much!
