Hello,

I received a first confirmation email stating that I was accepted as a model and that to confirm the contract, I needed to call a number. However, I did some research online and realized that it wasn’t what I thought. I therefore did not respond to the email or call, and now I have just seen a new email specifying that I have 14 days to pay and call the mentioned number, and that they committed to paying half of the fees and charging me €60 instead of €120.

So I wanted to know if it's true that I need to pay within 14 days or not since I did not respond to their first email?

Thank you very much for your responses.

Hello.

Instead of constantly asking the same questions, you are requested to read what has already been said and reiterated.

Summary of what has already been said:

Do not respond to their possible follow-ups, all their threats are just empty threats, they have no legal means to act since Prestige Model Management is not operating legally.

IMPORTANT see this message.

READ CAREFULLY THIS PAGE.

One thing to remember:

real modeling agencies are free but their selection is strict, the rest is just nonsense because not everyone can become a model, we need to stop dreaming to avoid being taken advantage of by purveyors of dreams.

They will send you a letter telling you to pay their lawyer blah blah 100€, it’s nonsense. Someone who was in finance and whom I trust 100% explained to me that guys from another country have nothing to claim from you unless there are bailiffs in front of your house, and even then you can refuse. So if you receive letters from Lowell etc., it’s all nonsense lol, it’s not even a real company, like Prestige Model Management, it’s fake. They want to put pressure on you to pay by pretending that yeah, we contacted lawyers blah blah, but there are 0 lawyers. Plus, the commercial agreements between France and Austria aren't the same, so you have nothing to worry about. I hope to help you, so you will receive letters but act as if it’s junk mail. If you pay, you’ll give your IBAN and on Google many people complain about fraud, etc., and if they really go all the way and you have a bailiff at your door (which would be very, very strange), refuse as well.

Hello,
have you signed a REAL contract?
If not, forget it. You owe nothing.
Moreover, if the competent court is in Austria, before they obtain an enforceable judgment in France for €60 of debt... the hens will have teeth.
Additionally, French law does not allow them to operate as a modeling agency on French soil, so no French court could follow up on an illegal agency in France. A modeling agency MUST obtain a legal license to operate as such.

Labor Code
Article R7123-8
Any person established on national territory engaging in the paid placement of models must hold a modeling agency license.
