How to connect Akaso Action Cam to Mac?

Hello,

I just acquired an Akaso Brave 4 Camera, but being totally new to video, I was wondering how to connect it to my Mac. There is nothing mentioned in the manual about this and no info on the Akaso website either. Should I connect it using an HDMI cable? Do I need to install any software on my Mac, or will the camera be detected automatically?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can guide me.

Configuration: Macintosh OS 10.13.6 / Safari 13.0.5

    Sports camera with WiFi and HDMI: sharing and editing videos from an action camera is easier with the free app (camking). All you need to do is download the app on your phone or tablet and connect it with this action camera. WiFi signal range up to 10 meters. The HDMI port allows you to connect it to the TV.
    For my part, you can connect the camcorder with a wired micro USB/HDMI connection and copy and paste files from the camcorder to the SD card to your computer or use the Camking app

      Camking is a smartphone and tablet application, but I’m not sure if it’s available for installation on a Mac; I can’t find it. I tried connecting via USB, but the camera doesn’t appear on the computer. I’ll try with an HDMI cable. I still have the option of removing the micro SD card and reading it through a card reader, but it’s so difficult to remove and put back in its slot that I would prefer not to touch it.

        Hello, another option is that it has Wi-Fi; it's probably possible to connect it to the Mac like I do with the CD card from my phone. The content goes to the cloud, and I retrieve the files from the cloud because, like you, I don't have access to my SD card to copy and paste.
