Hello,
I don't know if I'm in the right place to ask my question?

I've just been offered an update for "galaxy wearable" on my Samsung S8+. What is this app for and is it important to do the update?
While looking online, I saw that some people have experienced bugs since this update?

    "The Galaxy Wearable app allows you to connect your wearable device to your mobile device. It also lets you manage and control the functions of the wearable device and the apps installed from Galaxy Apps."

    Basically connect the connected devices, like a smartwatch.

      Hello, I don't know much about technology and PCs, but why does Galaxy Wearable need access to my contacts, personal files, to make and manage phone calls, photos, and more? For me, the only useful access for this app is location and notifications in case of an update, for example; or am I wrong? Furthermore, yesterday I used the app with the watch again, and despite accepting all the permissions, I don't know how to use it. I always receive the message (unable to use wearable, press settings to access information on the app, permissions below and try again, thank you).
