Hello,
I find my computer very slow compared to my previous Dell.
I would like to add some memory, but which one? I can't find the one that corresponds to the HP Laptop. I am running Windows 10 Home 64bits. How much can I add? SSD4 or something else?
Processor AMD A6 9220 RADEON R4, 5 Compute Cores 2c+3G.

Thank you in advance.

    Good evening,
Go to a site like Crucial and run a scan regarding the installed memory, you will get the reference numbers to consider. Crucial is HERE.
There is also a small utility that will give you the information, Cpu-Z, HERE.
The main thing is to know how much this PC can accept and then to have a 64-bit environment to be able to make the most of it.
    Best regards.

    Windows 10 Home version 1903

ok we are at 1909, but since you can't run the scan with Crucial and CPUZ, I think your PC is infected

do this in safe mode with networking

download FRST from (Fabar) to your desktop

    https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/farbar-recovery-scan-tool/

PS: take the one that matches your PC (32 or 64 bits)

    https://www.commentcamarche.net/informatique/windows/169-32-bits-ou-64-bits-comment-savoir/

run it as administrator (right click)

at the end of the scan, the FRST and ADDITION reports will appear on your desktop and in C:\FRST\LOG

    post the reports via cjoint

    https://www.commentcamarche.net/faq/29493-utiliser-cjoint-pour-heberger-des-fichiers

PS: if it doesn't work, download FRST from another PC and put it on a USB stick

then, plug the stick into your PC and transfer the FRST software to your PC

restart the PC in safe mode and run FRST

    if you have any questions...

    Hello,
Thank you for the advice, but I had already done that and this spyware is not on my computer.
The same goes for "appwiz.cpl" which is also not present.

    Hello again,

That's why I would like to add an additional RAM stick, especially since I often have several applications running simultaneously.
    Best regards

On Windows 10, to see if your memory is full or saturated
go to Task Manager > Performance
if your memory is at 70% or more
then yes, you need to add more, otherwise it's not necessary
      the problem comes from elsewhere
provide a screenshot of the Task Manager > Performance

As a task manager, I am at 79% memory

I am unable to attach my screenshot that I have in Word or PDF

Yes, indeed the PC is using 79% of the RAM (that's a lot)
You have 4 GB of RAM, right?
      Do you play games?

I’m not sure if there was a mishap with the env from my last response.
I mentioned that there is indeed 4 GB of RAM. On a single existing slot if I read the specifications correctly.
No, I never play games. The main uses are Outlook with Office 365, Word, and a bit of Access. Then music, photos, and browsing with Chrome.
I would therefore like to buy a stick of 8 or 16 GB, but I don't know what type of memory I need: SSD3, SSD4, or something else. I don't know where to find this information with Windows 10 Home running at 64 bits.
    Best regards. Thank you.

the memory is of type DDR3 or DDR4
      and not SSD3 or SSD4
but if you're not gaming it's not normal that you have 79% of RAM used
      I have Windows 64-bit with 4GB of RAM, I don't game
just office tasks and internet and my memory usage is about 47% !!
      so there is a problem
send me a screenshot of "task manager > processes "

I tried the Crucial scan, it doesn't work. When I enter the full reference of the computer, they don't recognize it!
    Same with Cpu-z
    Best regards
