Hello, I wear jeans in size 38/34, but I would like to know exactly what this corresponds to in US sizing? I've always had trouble figuring it out.

There isn't that size. The problem is that the store where I buy the jeans only labels them as 38/34 or 36/34. Whereas in other places, they use sizes like 46 or 48.

There is the circumference and then the height

When you mention 38, it must correspond to 28 or 29 US, which is quite slim; I wouldn’t fit into that, even though I am of average height, I usually go for 34, at least 33 or 32 if I lose a bit of weight.

32 or 31 is already slim for a man.
