Hello,
Before addressing the issue:
Writing in uppercase on a forum is considered shouting rather than speaking calmly, so please avoid this if you don't want to shout in our ears.
Now, to the concrete matter,
If you have never updated this MacBook Air, it should be running Mac OS X 10.7 or OS X 10.8, and these older systems do not support the current version of the Safari browser. Therefore, first, you need to upgrade to a more recent version, and then you will have a recent version of Safari.
The latest versions of OS are
High Sierra, which is macOS 10.13
Mojave, which is macOS 10.14
Catalina, which is macOS 10.15
For this old Mac, I strongly advise against Catalina, as you may encounter too many compatibility issues with your installed applications.
On the other hand, I recommend High Sierra:
https://support.apple.com/fr-fr/HT211683
and possibly Mojave, but be cautious about the compatibility of your existing applications as well as printer, scanner, etc. drivers:

Best regards.
