Gantt project: One month delay between 2 tasks

Hello everyone,

I am currently building a Gantt chart using Gantt Project (version 2.8.9) and I am desperately looking for a way to offset two tasks using a finish/start link of one month.

So if the first task starts on 02/02/2020, the next task would start on 02/03/2020 (regardless of non-working days).

The delay field seems to only accept values in working days; I’ve tried entering 1 month/1M/1 month, but nothing works. Has anyone encountered this problem? What solution did you find?

Thank you,

David.

    Hello.

There is confusion: "shift two tasks using a link start/end of a month", that does not exist!
You need to shift the start of the tasks by 30 days: In the properties of Task_2, in the Predecessors section, select the name Task_1, relationship Start-Start, delay 30.

    - Note that the calendar can be modified to account for work on weekends!

      Hello Sir,

      Thank you for your response,
is there any way to mix calendar day delays and working day delays?

For example, the contract I am about to sign states:
      - signing of the contract on date T
      - start of work 1 month later (implied 1 calendar month)
      - synthesis of all networks by T+45 days (implied working days)

The problem is that date T is a variable and I do not know how to arrange the connections with delays in calendar and working days (as some months have 30 or 31 days).

      Thank you,

      David.

The start date for the work is fixed and unique; you enter it manually.
