Hello,
I have an ONKYO TX-SR309 amplifier and suddenly my remote control stopped working with the amplifier. It works perfectly well (red light with each button press, new batteries) and has no effect on the device which does not respond.... Could the problem be due to the receiver of the amplifier or a mistake on my part that might have blocked the transmission function of my remote control?
Thank you in advance
Best regards

Hello,
Surely the infrared receiver is faulty on the amp.

For my part, a big thank you to Youtube, I had the same problem and found the answer that I'm sharing with everyone:
Hold down the mode button, then "clear," and like magic, the remote works again!
Thank you for the YouTube tutorials, even though the answer was in the comments for my part! ???? :p -
Hello and especially a Happy New Year 2022!
My concern... I just bought a second-hand Onkyo TX-SR607 amplifier and the remote control stopped working after I changed the batteries. Remote Control Reference Onkyo RC-738M
The infrared works from the remote to the amp but I can't change anything.
Could you please help me?
Thank you.
