PDS in Photoshop picked up with GIMP
Good evening,
When I took Web Developer and Web Designer courses, I had an Adobe CS6 version that could run by changing the computer’s date.
I created logos in PSD format.
I thought I could edit the writing with GIMP.
However, I don’t have access to the writing created with Photoshop.
Would anyone have a solution?
My father often says that it’s not the complexity of a program that makes it powerful, but knowing how to use it well.
I’m more inclined to use Publisher, which remains accessible, unlike Adobe where you have to pay a license and you’re no longer the owner but a renter of the tools.

Adobe files are compatible with Adobe programs.. You can, for example, open a PSD file in Illustrator and edit text.
You can also open a PSD file in Corel Draw, having the text separately but as an image, therefore non-editable (unless you want to delete it).Provided that the image has not been flattened.

Hello,
I am more inclined to use Publisher, which remains accessible, unlike Adobe where you have to pay a license or you are no longer the owner but the renter of the tools. If you need to reinstall MS Publisher, note that the application is retiring on October 1, 2026...
