Hello.
Actually, I don't have a question about the software itself except for why CCM promotes the Format Factory software and offers it for download while it contains a trojan. That's at least what Bitdefender detected when I tried to install it by double-clicking the file downloaded from the CCM site but also from the developer's site, Freetime Software. The installation files were instantly quarantined, so I couldn't install this program. Is Bitdefender being paranoid or is CCM not being vigilant?

They are not viruses at all.
Simply small adware trojans that are not very dangerous after all.
Generally speaking, you should always download a program from the official website of the publisher, not elsewhere.
