Synchronization disabled

Hello,

Since yesterday morning, I'm facing a big automatic synchronization issue on my Huawei P9 lite phone.

My emails are no longer syncing and when I go to Settings --> accounts, I can't reactivate automatic sync: everything appears grayed out (for both email accounts I've registered).
Here's how I proceed:
- Method 1: Settings --> accounts --> tap on the three small dots at the top right, but "automatic data sync" appears grayed out, impossible to select it
- Method 2: Settings --> accounts --> select the email account --> account settings --> email account --> "Automatic synchronization disabled. To configure the following grayed options, please enable automatic synchronization under Settings > Accounts" (oh yes, and what do you think I'm trying to do?)
- Method 3: same by going directly through the email accounts app, but still the same response, so we’re going in circles.

Manual sync doesn’t really work. Yet I'm not in power-saving mode, I went into Settings > data saver and granted unlimited data usage permission to the apps I want to sync. But it doesn't change anything. Whether I'm on Wi-Fi or mobile data...

Anyway, I restarted the phone, looked for updates (everything is fine), searched forums... Found nothing to help me and it's becoming very cumbersome (especially since I use my phone for work too). I don't understand why it’s not working anymore when everything was fine up until two days ago. I haven't done anything special...

Do you have any leads or even better, a solution?
