Right-click issue

Hello,
I have an ASUS K756U PC
and for some time now, I can no longer right-click with the mouse on images and photos; it gives me a black screen for 2 seconds and then returns me to the desktop. I mainly use the PC for my photos, so I can no longer copy and paste. If anyone can help me, that would be great.
Thanks in advance.
Virginie.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 78.0.3904.97

Have you recently installed a new program that could be causing problems with the context menu?
To check, you can install Ccleaner here:
    https://www.ccleaner.com/fr-fr/ccleaner?source=cpc&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIl_iR5tTn5QIVj0DTCh3COgW1EAAYASAAEgLm6_D_BwE

In Ccleaner, go to the tools tab. There you can click on uninstall programs. Click on the "Installation Date" column to see the most recently installed programs.

Then you can try to clean up your context menu to keep only what is useful to you. This can also help you identify if there is a specific entry that is causing a problem with your context menu.

    To clean the context menu:
In Ccleaner, go to "tools", then "Startup", then "Context menu". There you can enable/disable the entries in your right-click menu.

    Thank you
I did what you told me but it still doesn’t work.
I hadn't installed any particular program and in the context menu everything is enabled.

Indeed, you should try disabling what you don't use in the context menu. By working through elimination, you might be able to find if the issue is caused by one of the entries in the context menu. You can disable them one by one and check if the problem persists.

Otherwise, while waiting to resolve the issue, you can always copy and paste using keyboard shortcuts (which is actually faster and more convenient):
      Copy: Ctrl + C
      Paste: Ctrl + V
      Cut: Ctrl + X

    Hello.
    Thank you.
I deleted what I wasn't using in the menu, but it still doesn't work.

You should try to disable them temporarily one by one to see if there's one causing the issue.

This task can be facilitated by using the ShellExView software:
      https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html

Like the Ccleaner tool, it allows you to display and enable/disable right-click menu entries.

      - In options, check "Hide all Microsoft Extensions"
      - Disable everything that remains and see if that resolves the issue.
      - If the problem is resolved, reactivate the entries one by one to find the entry that is causing the problem.
