Sign in to Gmail on a device that's different from the usual one

Hello,
None of the posts answer the question: when you go to Gmail to log in on another PC that isn't yours, even if you use private browsing, Google requires you to provide a phone number. This is not normal. We no longer have the choice not to verify that it's really us!! What is this loss of freedom! This surveillance!
So how can I log in while traveling? Deleting my Gmail account is not a solution because the Google account is omnipresent for accessing my phone and apps.
I don’t want to create a Facebook account; I already have a Microsoft account that is useless to me except to open my PC!
There has to be a solution; how do you manage when you're at friends' places or out and you’ve received emails that you need to respond to before you get home?
Thanks in advance to the geniuses who will respond to me
Thanks++

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 70.0

Thank you, but I was already there and it doesn't work, you still have to check your phone
what Google offers is way too complicated and on top of that, it doesn't provide details, I tried private browsing, but without success, I can't see if I'm in private mode or not
I'm using Firefox

Hello,

This is a security procedure, so trying to bypass it is a very bad idea.

And there you go, I simply can't access my account to activate it. How does this work!!!
This site requires an email, and we can't use the same email for multiple accounts!! Too bad for CCM!!!

I had to log in from home to validate CCM! What will happen when I change my computer? There must be a solution; not private browsing or the link provided at the beginning because they redirect to the Google page which still requires an extra validation, no link to bypass this stupid verification.
Thanks to anyone who has found the trick.

When you change computers, internet providers, or anything else, there is no problem connecting to Gmail.....

That's false. I have multiple accounts with the same email.

For issues regarding CCM, please create a new post here: https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/bugs-et-suggestions-ccm-9

Hello

What security settings did you choose for Google ??? because two-step security is not a requirement...

And of course you can log in to your account from anywhere... and without needing to validate with your number.

Read all your account settings carefully and minimize the number of mandatory verifications...

;)

green mouse thank you; I have never chosen any security settings. What do I need to disable? And on the original PC or the temporary PC? I can check the settings on my PC but I cannot change those of the visitor. If each time we go to someone's place we have to modify the settings... on my PC it never asks me for verification; I will get back to you after checking the settings on my PC.

As I suspected, the two-step verification is already disabled as well as "use your phone to log in." So it's not the Google account that simply applies the settings anywhere; it has to adapt to the host PC! What a horror! It didn't used to be like this at least a year ago.
