My problem for the past few days is that I always appear online on Messenger even when I am offline and have turned off my internet connection; my friends still see me online. I don't know what to do anymore, I need help. Thank you in advance.

    Good evening, I had the same issue and I managed to solve it. You need to go to the settings on Messenger and mark that you are no longer appearing online. But logically, when you leave Messenger, you shouldn't appear online anymore. Are you turning off your Wi-Fi or 4G? Make sure that the Messenger app is no longer open in the recently used apps at the bottom.
