Hello everyone,

I launched Windows Update and it was working fine for several updates.

However, during the installation of Internet Explorer 11 and two other updates (KB4493132 + KB4516065), I received these error codes: 

Windows Update encountered an unknown error.

Detected errors:

Code 80092004
Code 9C59

    Hi,

    Download UpdatePack7R2

    Place it on the desktop (Important)

    As an administrator, run it from a .BAT file that contains this:

    start %UserProfile%\Desktop\UpdatePack7R2-19.10.10.exe /IE11 /reboot

    (The file name must be exact in the command)

    Then click on install

    Let it restart as many times as needed.

    Often it resolves issues.
