Step No. 6 Go to W.update

click on Installed updates
then in the Microsoft Windows section check the list for the presence of -> Cumulative security update for Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7 for x64 systems (KB303814)
right click then
uninstall
close Windows Update

restart the machine after the KB installation is complete!

I repeat, a PC restart also restarts the wuauserv service, so no need to mess around in the command prompt or services.msc.
