Unable to join a group with my page

Question

Hello everyone,

I'm having a problem with Facebook.
I want to join a group with a page I created.
This group accepts pages as members because several pages are part of it.
However, when I click on request to join, it only offers me to do so with my personal profile or with another page of which I am also an administrator.

It is impossible to request to join the group with the desired page, which is, after all, a page I created and is a professional page with over 2000 likes.

Thank you in advance for your help; I urgently need to answer questions related to my (pro) page in this group.

Hello everyone,

I think I have found a beginning solution.
To join a Facebook group, only one of my pages was suggested to me (it has a few likes but a lot fewer than another one).

On mobile, you need to go to your page settings -> General -> Pin the Page
but it doesn't work on a computer; you have to do it through a mobile...

Indeed, my originally pinned page was the one suggested for joining Facebook groups.
Since then, it hasn't been suggested anymore, but neither has my new pinned page... It's a new page with practically no followers, so I don't know if that could be the issue? But I'm stuck.

Hello, I have the same issue. Even by unpinning the page that Facebook is suggesting, it still shows that one instead of the one I would like to use. The one being suggested has about 5000 likes, and the one I want to use has 17. I have pinned it, but no luck. It's always the other one that is being suggested... any idea?

I have been trying for days and days to connect to Facebook groups through my page rather than my personal profile... but to no avail. I have watched all the tutorials on YouTube and followed all the recommendations from all the web pages... nothing works. My profile has 4,300 followers, so it has nothing to do with the number of likes or the number of followers. I'm losing hope.

Facebook is changing its functionality regarding pages, groups, tagging, and everything else.

From what I've found, you can no longer join a group both with your personal account and with your page. You have to choose one or the other.

For all those who are feeling desperate, the solution is quite simple in the end. If you are in the group with your personal account, leave it, then click on join and make the request with your page. If you have several to integrate into the group. Go back to the group as your personal profile, and do the same thing again. Once you have added your pages, only then will you be able to request to rejoin the group with your personal profile, because afterwards you will be blocked again ;)

Same problem. I had 2 pages and I wanted to join groups with the page that was not being suggested to me. So I temporarily left the administration of the page to only keep one page, hoping it would then be suggested to me to join the groups. But it's not working, I can only join groups with my personal profile since this manipulation.
Has anyone found a solution?
