Front panel lock issue on Samsung TV

Question

Hi everyone, I have a little issue. I have a Samsung TV T24C300EW but I don’t have the remote control. It's okay because the buttons are touch-sensitive and I've managed without it for a while, lol. However, I just made a small mistake while looking in the menu to check tonight's schedule; I locked the front panel buttons! Now, I can't do anything!
It says:
"The front panel buttons are locked. To unlock them, select Menu > System > General > Key Lock, then "Off"."
The problem, as I said, is that I don't have the remote control, and no matter how much I press the buttons on the TV, the message keeps coming back. I even tried turning it off, but that doesn’t work either, so my TV is stuck on channel 9 and I can’t do anything. If anyone can help me, that would be really great. Thanks everyone! :-)

I think, if you don't have access to the menu through the front buttons, that the only solution is to buy an original remote if possible, and for tonight after those Marseille fools, there's no other choice but "criminal investigations"...;-(

Have you tried unplugging it from the power outlet?
(15 minutes or more)

With a bit of luck, this will reset the settings.

Hello,
A "universal" remote control has nothing to do with Wi-Fi since it works with infrared, but make sure that the TV model is listed in the compatibility list.

Each member can put a signature (motto, proverb, etc.) that appears in gray and italic at the end of the replies to a topic but not in the comments.
