Hello everyone!
I just replaced the "old" HDD of my MacBook Pro (13", mid-2012) with an SSD (by the way, I highly recommend it!)
So I would like to reclaim this old HDD (formatted in AFPS) to use it (via an enclosure) as an external hard drive, formatted in exFAT.
But that's where the problem lies, Disk Utility on Mac only offers 4 options in AFPS as reformatting choices for this HDD.
Is there another solution?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Problem solved!
For those who might be interested, here is the solution (pretty simple after all...)
"In the top left corner of the Disk Utility panel > click the button: "View" and select: "Show all devices" -->
- the physical disk will be displayed in addition to the volume. Select the physical disk and the "Erase" menu => which gives you the choice of the Scheme (= partition table) & Format (= file system formatting the volume).
- if you want a storage disk that works on both PC / Mac => choose: Scheme = Master Boot Record (MBR) & Format = exFAT."

During an Ubuntu session, format it with Gparted to exfat.
