Hi community!

I've been searching the forums, but I can't find a solution to my problem.

I just bought a USB to ethernet adapter because my RJ45 port fried on my PC (and I don't have Wi-Fi!) The problem is that it arrived without a driver, and my PC is telling me that I need to install a driver for it to work.

I've downloaded a few randomly, but with no success...

I'm on Windows 7. The adapter is from a brand called Vshop (a company that has gone out of business...)
Model: USB 10/100 LAN
The hardware identification number: USB\VID_0BDA&PID_8152&REV_2000
error code: 28

Thank you for any help!

    Hello,

    Try this one:
    https://www.realtek.com/en/directly-download?downloadid=2ce63bb12e51790edb1f3209da853494
(now requires an email request to download. It's nonsense, but whatever...)

Thank you for your response! Unfortunately, once I enter my email, it indicates in Chinese (thanks Google Translate!!) that the download link cannot be found (or something like that...).

That's great, I succeeded in less than 5 minutes! Driver detected and installed, I finally have (at last!!) internet on my PC. Thank you so much!!
