Missing driver for USB to Ethernet adapter

Question

Hi champions!
I just bought a USB to Ethernet adapter to connect in my residence where the internet comes out of the walls via Ethernet cable. My notebook doesn't have an Ethernet port, so I purchased (a bit hastily) the Microsoft adapter for Surface...
Unfortunately, it doesn't work on my PC since a driver is missing :( Is it possible for me to download it, or can the adapter only be used on a tablet?
When I ask Windows to search for the missing driver, it can't find it on its own:

Hello,  Download this driver --> Ethernet Adapter.zip and place it in your documents.  Right-click on --> Ethernet Adapter.zip Choose --> extract all  Go to Device Manager Right-click on the device in question Update driver Browse my computer for driver software Browse Go to your documents Select the unzipped driver folder --> Ethernet Adapter OK, next Restart   -- Human beings are at their best when things are at their worst.

I'm running on Windows 8! And it's indeed the product that vieuxpc is showing that I bought :)

When you click on the link, wait for the file to appear.

Otherwise, try this one --> FDduQ4eniOh_Ethernet-Adapter.zip

Right-click on --> FDduQ4eniOh_Ethernet-Adapter.zip
Choose --> extract all

Go to Device Manager
Right-click on the device in question
Update driver
Search for a driver on my computer
Browse
Go to the unzipped driver folder --> FDduQ4eniOh_Ethernet-Adapter
Select the folder --> Ethernet Adapter
OK, next
Restart

I'm doing everything you tell me, but for now, it's without result :(
He doesn't want to install the drivers you suggested.... either he says he couldn't find any driver in the folders you proposed, or the hash is incorrect (like the message above)...

If anyone still has the patience, I'm interested!
