Hello,
I recently replaced my HDD with a Samsung SSD, everything is working well, and I can clearly see the difference.
I know there is software from Samsung, but I would like to know if you have any feedback on it? Or if it is wise to install it? I'm a bit afraid that those so-called "fast" modes might do more harm than good.
Does Windows configure itself by default for an SSD?
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
Not really essential for typical use of your computer.
It works correctly and quickly, so why take unnecessary risks?

Hello,
Personally, I believe that nothing beats a fresh installation as long as you replace your HDD with an SSD, personal experience.
Afterwards, you can create a disk image for reinstallation in case of issues (I’m not sure if this software does it, but otherwise Windows includes an app for that, Mac has Time Machine, and GNU/Linux Ubuntu also has an app built-in).
You can optimize Windows for your SSD by following the various tutorials.
Have a great day
