Hello everyone.

For almost a year now, I've been unable to connect my desktop computer to various wifi networks. My laptops and phones, however, have no trouble connecting.

I can see the different wifi signals in the area, all of which are "very good" (the one from the router, from my mobile phones with tethering, and from the neighbors), but when I try to connect, half a second after entering the wifi network password, I receive this error message, regardless of the wifi network.

The problem doesn't come from my network card because I bought a usb wifi adapter and I have the exact same problem. I am forced to connect via cable, but in my new house, that's impossible.
I think there must be a configuration issue with the PC (Windows 7). I have searched several forums and tried resetting a few things from the command lines, but nothing works.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Hi,
it's certainly a driver issue with the wifi card though...
not great if you're experiencing the same thing with the usb/wifi adapter, because it's likely the same problem.
Windows driver specialists will get back to you.

It works! I was updating the drivers from Windows, but they weren't the latest ones. I went to find them on the Realtek websites and it works. Thank you for your help!
