Hello
I would like to know if it is possible to remove the lock screen on the iPad?
I just bought it (my first one with iOS) and during the setup, I entered the code and my fingerprint.
I went to settings / Touch ID and passcode / entered my unlock code / None or something like that / re-entered the unlock code.
Now when I turn it on, I just have to press the Home button to get to the home screen and I can ask Siri for something.
The best would be to not have the lock screen anymore and access the home screen directly.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you in advance.
Isabelle

I’m sharing the trick with you:
Click on General / click on Touch ID & Passcode / enter your unlock code / click on "Remove" or the term that means the same thing (I don't remember the exact term) / re-enter your unlock code to confirm the action.
And there you go, no more code or fingerprint and Siri activates right away (whereas before you had to unlock the tablet. Now it’s very handy, without even having to touch it, you just say Hey Siri...)
