Hello,

I have been with AOL for 30 years, and lately, after entering my username + password, I am asked to obtain a validation code by mobile/landline to unlock my mailbox =
what is the reason for this requirement
and how can I remove it
best regards

Configuration: Windows / Opera Next 62.0.3331.99

Hello, I have been with AOL for just as long, and this two-factor authentication system is new; you won't be able to escape it... but make sure to write down your login details, recovery method, and any codes that will be sent to you.

OK, so if you have the same process,
but if we open it several times a day, we have the same operation to do each time
admit that it's tedious, and no matter which browser
Do you know a browser that has the same features as AOL, in terms of the history on the left side of the screen, the memory of email addresses without having to enter them 100%
I am also using GOOGLE CHROME, OPERA, I.E. and I can't find these advantages there

I stay logged in and I don't have to retype everything each time (that said, I'm on AOL direct) meaning I have an email account directly on AOL
and I use Chrome.

Hello,

I disagree, I accidentally found the ENABLE or DISABLE password function to open AOL on an AOL window, which I had to enable.
I proceeded to DISABLE it, and now I can open AOL in any browser without having to enter an opening code, which is definitely nicer.
Best regards.
