Bonjour
Je suis sous unbuntu 18 et quand je branche une clé usb ou un dd externe (tout les deux reconnus sous Windows) il ne sont pas détectés tout mes ports fonctionnent parfaitement.
Auriez-vous une solution?

Le système de fichier de ta clé USB n'est peut-être pas compatible avec Ubuntu. Il faut que tu regardes dans les propriétés de la clé si elle utilise le NTFS : dans ce cas, il faut formater la clé et choisir pour système de fichier le FAT32 (attention, en formatant la clé, les fichiers qu'elle contient sont perdus).

Linux sait parfaitement lire / écrire les partitions ntfs.

Qu'est-ce que tu veux dire avec "il ne sont pas détectés" ?
- Ils n'apparaissent pas dans le résultat de la commande lsusb ?
- Ils n'apparaissent pas dans le navigateur de fichiers ?

Ils peuvent très bien être détectés et ne pas apparaître dans le navigateur de fichiers s'ils ne sont pas montés.

En effet, je n'ai rien dit, Linux aujourd'hui sait lire le NTFS. Je me suis très mal renseigné, désolé.

Salut
Quand je branche mes clés ou disque externe ils n’apparaissent pas à l’écran.
Je ne peux donc pas les ouvrire elles sont toutes en ntfs se qui fonctionné avant la mise à jour 18

Salut,

branche le disque ou clé USB.

Ouvre un terminal et tape :
dmesg

donne le résultat.

puis :

sudo fdisk -l


donne le résultat.

Salut,

Avec les dernières distribs,
dmesg
utilises l'option
-w
qui permet de laisser le terminal ouvert et de voir au fur et à mesure ce qui se passe en direct.

Donc, ouvrir un terminal, lancer
dmesg -w
et à partir de là brancher le périphérique.

De rien. Mais effectivement, dans tous les cas le résultat est le même ;-)
Disons qu'avec
dmesg -w
si tu rajoutes 2 ou 3 lignes vides (touche <Entrée>) tu peux mieux repérer à quel endroit commence l'ajout d'infos…

1. Débranche tes 2 périphériques de stockages
2. Ouvre un terminal
3. Ecrit:
lsusb

4. Rebranche tes 2 périphériques...
5. Dans le même terminal écrit:
lsusb


Envoie si possible le résultat dans 2 sections code diffèrentes:

Je ne sais pas mettre les chevronnets.
J'ai deux disques dur externe et une clé usb de brancher mais je crois que la clé est mal formater en plus gparted ne veux pas se lancer sur mon ubuntu.

Le dmesg doit être coupé à la fin et pas entier ?
Tu peux recommencer, il faut bien utiliser dmesg après avoir inséré les clés et disques.
Ensuite copier/coller dans un fichier texte et l'enregistrer.

Envoie le fichier sur https://pjjoint.malekal.com

Je te redonne la procédure pour ne copier/coller que ce qui nous intéresse :
  • Débrancher tous les périphériques USB que tu veux lister
  • Ouvrir un terminal
  • Lancer la commande
    dmesg -w
  • Créer 2 ou 3 lignes vides en appuyant 2 ou 3 fois sur la touche <Entrée>
  • Brancher un des périphériques USB
  • Copier/coller les lignes apparues sur le terminal à partir des lignes vides précédemment créées


Ci-dessous un exemple. Ce qui nous intéresse est encadré en rouge (après les lignes vides). En jaune un exemple de dénomination pour une clé USB :

On dirait qu'il y a des erreurs de lectures

Read Capacity(16) failed: Result: hostbyte=DID_ERROR driverbyte=DRIVER_OK

Quand tu utilises le disque et que tu as terminé, tu éjectes bien sur Windows ?
Peut-être que le système de fichiers est marqué en erreur.
Il fonctionne bien de manière générale, pas d'erreur de copies ou autres ?

Ce serait bien de faire un checkdisk depuis Windows.

Tu peux faire la vérification en graphique.

ou depuis Ubuntu :
sudo fsck -V -n /dev/sdb1


A toi de voir le plus simple.

Pas de soucis je fait ça le disque dur vient de mon pc portable que j’ai remplacé par un ssd j’ai formaté le système pour en faire un dd externe

Quel format ? ntfs, fat32, ext4 , autre ?
Tu l'as formaté comment ?

Si on se fie aux résultats de la commande dmesg, il n'est pas possible de déterminer la taille du disque... il a un souci ton disque.

Et si gparted ne se lance pas, c'est pas normal, ton install d'ubuntu est sans doute bancale. Essaie avec le live-usb. Si c'est la même chose, il faudrait vérifier l'intégrité de l'image iso avec la somme de contrôle md5.

Impossible de réparer le disque avec windows même avec CrystalDiskInfo
Il était formater en ntfs avec windows puis j'ai voulu en faire un dd bootable pour windows 10 je n'y suis pas arrivé donc reformatage
Je suis en train de le réparer avec easaus partition master je vous tiens au courant

Si les infos s'arrêtent là, c'est qu'il y a encore un souci ;-(
Ton disque est détecté, mais aucune info sur sa table de partitions et/ou, à défaut, sa structure n'est remontée ;-(

et tu devrais le voir dans l'explorateur de fichiers…

Gparted ne se lance toujours pas sur mon pc là je viens de brancher mon dd et uns clé usb et je ne les vois pas
J'en ai marre alors que sous windows tous va bien

Non le logiciel ne démarre pas donc impossible de voire le disque ou les clés et pourquoi mon Linux ne les détecte pas de suite comme Windows?
