Number next to Mozilla Firefox in my taskbar

Hello, for a while now, when I right-click on Mozilla Firefox in my taskbar, I've noticed there's a number in parentheses next to it; currently, it's 18. What does that mean, please?

    This corresponds to the number of tabs open in your Firefox.
