Issue with certain fonts doubling when printed

Hello, when printing some fonts appear doubled, resulting in blurry text.
The printer in copy mode produces correct prints.
Images and other fonts are correct and unrelated to the internet.
Windows 10 PC

  Thank you for your response, but it doesn't help.
  - I realigned the print heads, but it doesn't change anything... actually, I didn't really understand the test columns. However, I performed the auto alignment.
  Contrary to what I said, the simple copy also duplicates, especially on bold text for certain groups of words. ??

  If you print in just one color (aqua or lavender) from Word, do you get a blurry print?
  These two colors use just one ink (blue for aqua and red or rather pink for lavender). This will help verify that the color mixing does not have an alignment issue.
  
  Note that the color black can be made in two different ways depending on the document: either by using the three colors (red-yellow-blue) or only the black cartridge. In this case, if there is no problem it is indeed an issue with the color cartridge(s).

  compatible, yes, all except the little black one that's stunning
  - the printing in green and lavender blue (thankfully I'm not colorblind :) gives
  the 2 colors perfectly, this one being printed in Calibri
  
  Then Calibri blurry black / Calibri red ok
  Comic italic lavender Arial green Arial black blue Comic orange OK
  
  - Arial 12 black printing: blurry black
  - Calibri black: blurry
  - Dancing script 20 black: ok but blurry in black 10 and 18

  @Marylie12Get a magnifying glass and see what a character's print is made of…
  Those that are blurry should contain the 3 colors (C-M-Y) and maybe not black… The printing is done in RGB (even for black)…
  
  If that's the case, your color cartridges have a problem… Normally, this can be fixed by adjusting the alignment of the printheads… but if that doesn't work… maybe the compatible ones aren't as compatible as they claim…

The alignment of the heads has an effect on lateral printing (in the direction of the head movement) and much less in the other direction, which depends on the paper feeding...
If your paper slipped or was poorly fed, it would affect the entire line of text and not just a part of it.

The only influence that can affect the sharpness of a portion of text "on the same line" is the way that portion is printed.

If it is composed only of black that uses only the black cartridge, the print can only be sharp (unless of course you have clogged nozzles!)

If the portion of text is black but printed in RGB (meaning using color and therefore the 3 inks), even the slightest misalignment in the overlap of the surface to render the character will make it appear blurry.

It would be good to see what you printed in blurry and not blurry on the same sheet.... Try to create a "sharp" image and include it in your message...

Then the issue with the paper's hook was indeed independent of the blurriness. I was just pointing it out because it's yet another additional problem.

  @Marylie12In general, the name of the software is at the top of the window where what you have written is displayed..
  
  Considering your test, I lean more toward a software issue rather than a printer problem... There is too much lag for it to be a blur caused by the printer.

  I printed with my other laptop and it was the same, so I thought it might be the printer.

Well, I’m going to have to leave and I have training sessions coming up next week, so prints are necessary. I think I’m going to have to take my printer to the repair shop because of the delay. I only have Word 266 or 7.

  IMHO it's not a printer problem... but a Word issue.
  
  If it were a printer problem, in the PDF file you wouldn't have any defects...
  
  Check your "Normal.dot" file... it may have been modified for one reason or another and it might affect certain text depending on how they are written.

  If it were Word, why do I always have the same problem when I change computers?
  And when I print just a copy from the printer as I mentioned, I also have duplicated fonts..
  I’m waiting for the diagnosis, if they find it and I'll let you know..

  Yes, it's very curious because a virtual printer and a "physical" printer do not use the same driver, and do not perform printing in the same way, and if you change computers, it would be the fonts from the other computer that would be used ... Hence my hypothesis about Word ... (maybe the "shadow" effect?)
  
  But for the phenomenon to reproduce on two different computers, it would have to be the same Word file that is printed from both different computers, which does not seem to be the case ...
  
  It's a shame we can't analyze a Word file and the resulting PDF ... could you try to upload only the PDF file to www.cjoint.com? .. if there's an effect in the character, I could detect it.
