I have the same problem. I want to install a virtual machine with Linux using VirtualBox.
I have an HP Omen 17-an0xx laptop with an Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU 2.8GHz.
I have already enabled virtualization in the BIOS and also Hyper-V.
But when I want to install Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS in 64-bit, VirtualBox tells me that it is not possible. I need to disable hardware virtualization (VT-x/AMD-V) and choose Ubuntu 32-bit. But if I do that and want to start the virtual machine, the following error message appears:

Failed to open session for the virtual machine ubuntu.
