Hello,
I'm trying to install Opera, but it's impossible. It starts the installation and then stops, and then nothing. What's going on? Can someone help me?
I thank any kind soul for their help.

Hello,
thank you for your reply.
I am using Windows 7, thank you for your help.
I will check if there is a new Firefox update. I will get back to you right after.

The latest version of FF is 66.0.4.
Excellent browser, very efficient and free VPN.

Hello,
I cleaned with CCleaner, reloaded Opera, and started the installation and likewise, it runs for a few seconds and stops. I looked at the "task manager" at the same time and I see that loading starts on the hard drive and stops and then nothing. The only way to exit is to end it via the task manager.
So that's where I am and I don't know what to do. Yet I would like to leave Mozilla Firefox because with the latest update there is no more adblock and I receive all kinds of unsolicited ads that do not interest me at all. This makes me very disappointed with their way of doing things, so I want to leave them but what should I switch to?
Thank you for your help and advice.

Hello
Which OS?
Because the Firefox issue is resolved by using the latest update....
But if you are on an old version of Windows (Vista....), you won't be able to use the latest version, and it is not impossible (to be verified) that Opera may no longer function with it...
On the other hand, if you have a recent version of Windows, the issue is different....
