Hello,
My Apple ID has been locked, so I went to appleid.apple.com to unlock it, but it's asking for the trusted number I associated with my account, and the problem is that I forgot the number. I was advised to start the account recovery process, but I don't know where to go to initiate this process.

Hello Riham, your Apple account is certainly protected by two-factor authentication, which requires entering a verification code to access your Apple account.

On the appleid.com page, Apple does not ask you to enter your phone number; the page displays part of the phone number, and you just need to click on the link "get the code" or "I didn't receive the code."

If the number listed in your Apple account is a mobile phone (perhaps your iPhone), you will receive a text message from Apple with the verification code that you need to enter on the appleid.com page.
If the number is a landline, you will receive a call from Apple's automated voice server, which will provide you with the code.
