Excel conditional formatting Text with OR Solved

Question

Hello,
The formula:
The value of the cell is ; equal to ;
=OR(H108="Reminder done";H108="Done and pending (Reminder done)")
(found in another post)
does not seem to work with "Specific text containing" (Excel 2019)
any ideas ??

MFC icon / "New Rule"
"use a formula to...."
enter the formula in the designated box
format and OK/OK

Sorry but my reply from 3 days ago hasn't been taken into account!! I'll try to rephrase it:
Thank you for the reply, but it doesn't work:
Excel tells me that this is not a formula... :
=OR ($B$1250="test1";$B$1250="test2")
if I remove the "=", it accepts it and transforms the formula into:
="OR ($B$1250=""test1"";$B$1250=""test2"")"
a formula that doesn't work either...
Any other ideas??

if you followed the path "use a formula...", and if the formula is as you pasted it here, it should be enough to remove the space between OR and the first parenthesis, as well as any space at the end, after the last one for Excel to understand

Indeed, by removing the spaces, Excel accepts the "formula," but it doesn't work for that reason, because "test1" or "test2" can be in the text field but not alone... if "test1" or "test2" are alone in the field, it works.
I need "test1" or "test2" "mixed" with other text in the field... that's why I chose the "containing..." formula.

Sorry, Excel doesn't want it... (even with an extra parenthesis at the end)
=OR(COUNTIF(B1250,"*test1*'");COUNTIF(B1250,"*test2*"))
Please review the formula if possible

It works, I hadn't put the parenthesis in the right place... replaced a ' with a parenthesis..
=OR(COUNTIF(B1250,"*test1*");COUNTIF(B1250,"*test2*"))
