Orange Flashing Asus T100

Hello, I picked up a Samsung T100h (a tablet that can turn into a computer) at the recycling center, and I see that it is like new except that when I try to turn it on, nothing happens except for an orange blinking light next to the power button. Do you know what it could be? Thanks for your responses.

So I had the same problem with my Asus Transformer T102H and I found the solution: by pressing and holding the power button for a long time, it turns on. Then you need to find a way to hold the button down with an object to keep it on (otherwise it turns off immediately after you release the button) and let it discharge completely.
Once that's done, it should normally be able to charge again and turn on normally.

Same here, and thanks to Makse everything is working again. Thanks again.

How long do you need to keep it pressed?

    Hello,

ASUS T100 in the title becomes Samsung T100H in the body of the text???
That said, if it's at the dump, in general, for recent equipment, it means there is an issue.

Hello, after the dump I go to, it's often a waste for just about nothing; if I have 20€ in repairs, that's a benefit because it's worth 300€ and I can sell it for 100€.

I'm doing it, but even after a recharge, I've put it to charge but nothing works. It keeps flashing orange and won't turn on.

try forcing the startup by holding down the power button; it may take 15 seconds to 2 minutes
if it doesn't work, leave it charging and try again the next day
-either you're lucky and it's just the battery, and you'll just need to replace it,
-or it's electronic, and you'll have bought a battery for nothing; it's up to you to decide
don't forget it came from the dump, so there was a reason...

Thank you, I will try it tomorrow. My technology teacher is also willing to help me, and the dump I go to is "special" (people really throw away and waste more than average for no reason).
