HDMI output from the decoder -> the shortest possible HDMI cable connected to the amplifier's INPUT marked port
Connect the 30 m HDMI cable to the HDMI output of the amplifier marked OUTPUT
And don't forget to power the amplifier with DC/5V

I connected with an Orion cable, the box to our canal box and the 30m cable to the boxes and .... with no results ....

It seems the signal is searching but nothing is displayed at all (sometimes the message "HDMI not supported" disappears but it comes back again ...) WHAT TO DO, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE !!!!!

I tried reversing the direction of the box, connecting with a socket, not using the socket (because the box starts working as soon as I connect the OR cable to the box (the green light turned on))

Sorry me too. I confess I don’t understand the “HDMI not supported.” An experiment still needs to be done on a TV while keeping the box to know if it’s not at fault. The test with the 30m cable is a failure. Is that the cause? If we place the box on the projector side (instead of the Canal box side), do we get the same fault? Certes the wireless transmitter would certainly have been better, but more expensive. Question though: is the Canal cube used for something else there or where it is? I suppose the SCART socket served the old projector. It’s simply connected to a rooftop antenna. The simplest solution would be to lengthen the antenna cable and place the Canal decoder next to the projector. -- Très difficile d’attraper un chat noir dans une pièce sombre. Surtout qu’il n’y est pas...

Let's therefore forget about moving the canal decoder by lengthening the antenna cable.
The test to perform is to connect a TV with a short HDMI cable to the output of the box. This will allow us to know if the box is good.

Regarding the HDMI wireless transmitter, there are two boxes: a transmitter to connect via HDMI to the Canal decoder and a receiver to connect via HDMI to the projector. (the HDMI cables are short). The transmitter transmits the decoder's signal by radio to the receiver, which then carries it to the projector.

Everything is installed and ok !! (yes it goes back a bit but being a volunteer and involved in many projects and the person who is supposed to install is never available, finding time was hard)

EVERYTHING IS FINE !!

I completed the installation with the ones below



Perfect, only negative point: a 30M HDMI cable that I cannot return to the supplier because it dates from December and especially that it was probably defective from the start .... oh well :(
