Hello,
I have a small problem with PowerPoint that is causing me to waste a lot of time at work. Let me explain; when I want to create a new presentation, I often need slides or slide elements from different presentations. Having to open each presentation to find the slides (either manually or through the PWP search box) is very tedious. The search box is very handy but it means that we have to open each presentation one by one. Would a macro allow us to search for a term across all presentations in a folder, for example, with one action? If not, there must be a solution? I am pretty sure I’m not the first one to think about this :-)

Searching for a term that appears in a file is the job of Windows, and it does it very well... why reinvent the wheel? P

Windows 10:
Open File Explorer
Click in the search box at the top right to open the Search tab
Under this tab, you can choose all your criteria: file type, location, etc.
In Advanced options, you select File contents to ensure it searches inside the files
In the search box, type your text and hit Enter
