Hello,
I want to create a slideshow for my thesis defense and I would like to know how to display on each slide where I am according to my outline.
This is so that the jury knows which part of my outline I am in... Finally, to make my progress visible (on each slide).
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 40.0

Hello Momo34,
the following link will at least give you the principle for displaying your outline on each slide:
http://www.onlydoo.com/creer-un-site/AspDocs/faire-un-site.asp?NomPage=Page42
The idea to keep in mind is to place the outline in the master slide (the one on top) to avoid copying and pasting on each slide. If you have many slides per chapter, the solution proposed in the link is good: create as many layouts in the master as there are chapters and highlight the current chapter title with a color or a colored rectangle, still in the master.
If you have few slides, you can highlight the active chapter in the slides themselves.
You can place your outline horizontally at the top as in the example, but it can be vertical on the left. It all depends on the format of your slides and the layout.
Hoping you will create something nicer and take the opportunity to link to each chapter in case the jury wants you to go back to a previous chapter ;-)
