Good evening everyone, I'm here because I have a problem with VLC and also with Windows Media Player. When I want to listen to music, the songs are random! And I want to do the opposite because it annoys me. I've followed several tutorials, but I can't find the random mode to turn it off in my VLC or Windows Media Player. Also, my Windows Media Player won't open anymore on Windows 10! Can someone help me? Thank you.

Good evening,
You need to go to preferences, check the keyboard shortcuts, and next to Random, you should see the key that does that...
For me, it's the lowercase "r" key, while VLC is running.
That said, the random playback could also come from your audio source...?? Smartphone for example... that could be set as the audio input and with a random playlist..

When I click on a song and open it with VLC, it opens a different random song. I found the random mode in the playback bar, but when I click on it, nothing happens right now. I'm not using a smartphone.
