Remove an SD card without losing data from a smartphone without a battery

Hello,
A month ago, the battery of my smartphone started to swell and then barely function, so I got rid of it. Before disposing of the battery, I forgot to eject the SD card (on Android, S'Phone from Storex) by tapping on "Unmount the SD card safely." I then left the SD card in my phone.
The problem is that I don't know how to extract the memory card without losing my data. Can I eject it directly without losing my photos? Is there any other solution?
