Opening a photo on Windows 10 has become super slow.

Hello,

Here’s my problem. Since I switched to Windows 10, when I click to open a photo (which opens with "Photos"), I have to wait many seconds for it to open and then wait again for it to be clear. It’s becoming impossible to manage the photos given the delay.

Do you have any ideas?

I can’t delete the program at all....

I have noticed, like you, the slowness of the "Photos" software that other users have reported.
I solved the problem by installing the Windows Photo Viewer, which is extremely fast.

Hi @blue fox!  Thanks for your reply!  I did what you told me, but it's still very slow. I open a photo and "loading" is written on the photo, and it's not instant at all...

Strange, strange how strange it is!!

Maybe it's time to update the graphics driver
- Control Panel > Device Manager
Graphics cards
If the NAME of the graphics card, right-click and choose "update
the driver"
